Set of 8 Quick Hello Cards

Hello and I wish you a lovely new Monday!  I hope you have had a lovely, fun as well restful weekend.  I have a very fun card to share with you today.  The image is so cute that you'll want to grab one and color along with me!

This image is from Angie's Cards & Digis called "Baby Chicks". I can't help but giggle when I first saw this image. Both chicks seem to be greeting each other with a "Hello" question. The chick inside the egg seems to be asking "Hello is it safe to come out?" while the other chick seem to be asking "Hello are YOU going to come out?" Haha. This image is not only adorable, but very quick to color with. Making it very easy to put together a pack of card that can be for any occasion - not just for "Hello."

How This Set of 8 Cards Made

First, I opened up Microsoft Word (version 2013) and pulled in the Baby Chicks image and resize. Then, pulled in the "Hello?" sentiment and position it slightly on the egg.

Next, to group (lock) the Baby Chicks image and "Hello?" sentiment as a single image, I first click on both of them while holding down on the Ctrl key. Then go to the header bar and click on Group, then Group again.

Finally, I want to print out 8 of this image on a single page.  So, I Right click on the grouped (locked) image/sentiment and did Copy and Paste 7 times. Then just click and reposition each images across the page.  Print on Copic blending paper and color with Copic markers.

The Rectangle 6-in-1 Frames set is a built-in frames, meaning it was made to cut all six frames out on a single color cardstock in a single cut. So to get the frames in 3 different colors, I cut it three times. Then adhesive the different color frames to the white base card.  After finished coloring the image, I layer it over a piece of black cardstock.  Then mount over the frames.

I would like to  participate my "Hello" card in the following challenges listed at the end of this post.

Thanks so much for stopping by today friends.

I have a question Christina, The blue that is around your image. It is so light. Is it watercolor or copic?
