You Don't Always Have To Color Up An Image

1.25.2017

Sometimes a stamp set has so much artistic beauty details that to do it justice is to best leave it as is.  Uncolored.  I know.  It sounds like an excuse to not color up an image.  But just take a look at this Power Poppy's Move the Soul clear stamp set by artist and owner of Power Poppy - Marcella Hawley here for example.  Isn't the details in her artwork astonishing?  I have this stamp set for awhile now and finally had a chance to ink it up.

All supplies used for this project is listed in the thumbnails at the end of this post, linked to the shops where I have purchased them from.  If an item becomes unavailable at the purchased shop, I'll do my best to link to other shops that do carry it to save you time from searching around.

To start,  I made my A2 (4.25x5.5) card base using the Recollections heavyweight 110# cream cardstock.  Next I stamped on the biker with Lawn Fawn premium black LICORICE dye ink follow by the "thinking of you" sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Hand Lettered Winter Wishes stamp set.

To complete the card, I stamped a trail of heart in Memento Luxe Love Letter ink with the Simon Says Stamp Tons of Hearts set.

Thanks for stopping by,  May you have a lovely rest of your week.
