Santa Gift Bags

Hello!  In my last post I shared with you a tutorial on how to create festive lip balm gift tags.  For today's post, I will take you step-by-step on how to create one of these Santa gift bags using the Taylored Expressions' Sack It To You die set.  The set also comes with a bonus Santa die.

These Santa gift bags are quite easy and super duper fun to make with young children during this holiday season.  My three small kiddos gave me a hand with them, adhering and decorating these seven gift bags to hold Christmas gifts (the lip balm gift tag included) for their teachers.

Instruction

1.  With the Sack It To You die set, cut out 2 sides for the sack, a belt, belt buckle and 2 buttons.
2.  Adhere the two sides together to create the sack.
3. Adhere the belt and buckle to the sack with double sided adhesive tape and buttons with glue dots.  (TIP:  you can also use glue.  But if crafting with small children, I'd recommend using adhesive tape and glue dots for a clean and mess-free results).

4.  With the hole puncher, punch out hole to each side of the sack (about 1-inch from the top) and on each side of the handle.
5.  To prevent the handle from shifting, adhere it in place to the inside of the sack with double sided adhesive tape first.  Then secure with eyelets.

The finished product.

Thank you for stopping by.  May you have a lovely blessed day.
