WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DYE INK AND PIGMENT INK PAD?

Dye ink dye and absorb into the paper.  Whereas pigment ink sits on top of the paper. I shared more information about their differences in this post HERE.

HOW DO YOU CLEAN YOUR STAMPS?

I use water as well baby wipe to clean my stamps.  They work very well.  Then dry with microfiber cloth. For a thorough cleaning job, I only clean with Hero Arts Child Safe Stamp Cleaner solution with the Hero Arts Double Scrubber Pad Stamp Cleaner.

WHAT CUTTING TOOLS YOU USE?

For paper, I use the Tonic Maxi 12 inch Gutillontine paper trimmer.  I love this trimmer!  It so sharp and cut cleanly.  I got it from Ellen Hutson.

I also love my little Fiskars Premier No. 4 Curved Scissor.  It is the perfect little tool for cutting out  curve areas of images.

WHAT DO YOU USE TO PROTECT YOUR WORK SURFACE?

WHAT MACHINE DO YOU USE FOR DIE CUT AND EMBOSSING?

I use Sizzix Big Shot (the black & pink version) for both die cutting and embossing for years and absolutely love it!  But a few months ago I upgraded to Sizzix Big Shot Express after having pull a muscle in my left arm. They really are the same machine, except that the Sizzix Big Shot Express is the electronic version of the Sizzix Big Shot.   Instead of cranking, I just push a button.

WHICH INKS ARE GREAT FOR CREATING BACKGROUND?

I find Distress inks to work the best for background blending.  And when you add water to them, they gives off  a very gorgeous reaction!  However, I find Hero Arts Shadow Inks to work very good too for background blending.  You can read more about ink blending background HEREHERE and HERE.

WHAT IS A MASKING TECHNIQUE?

Check THIS POST out.  I did a tutorial on it.

HOW DO YOU ORGANIZE YOUR CRAFT-ROOM?

I started a craft-room organization post series which you can read more about it HERE.

FOR ALL STAMPS & CRAFT SUPPLIES

I mainly shop at Simon Says Stamp and Ellen Hutson. When I cannot find the supplies I'm looking for at these two shops, I turn to Amazon.com and my local art supplies stores (Michaels Arts & Craft and Jo-Ann Fabric) as well the local grocery stores.

FOR PAPER SUPPLIES

I mainly shop at Ellen Hutson for my cardstock.  For base card and dies cut projects, my favorite brand to use is the Bazzill Card Shoppe cardstocks.  They are 100# and high quality.  For copic coloring, I love using the Copic Xpress and Neenah.

For water-coloring paper, I like using the Canson XL watercolor paper pad which I get at my local craft store Michaels Arts & Craft .

FOR CRAFT-ROOM WOOD SHELVING UNIT ORGANIZATION

Two of my favorite go-to shops for wood shelves storage and cabinet furnitures are Ikea and  Stamp-n-Storage, a family-own business. They carry high quality, space efficient wood storage for both desktop and wall mount. Make sure to check out their About page for the story behind how the company got started. It's a very sweet one that will sure to melt your heart!

For Copic markers and pen supplies

I shop at Imagination International Inc  mainly for the Sketch markers and multiliner pens.  Ellen Hutson do carry a fair amount of them.  So if the colors I want is out of stock at Imagination International, I head over to Ellen Hutson.
