Updated February 9, 2018: Final participants list with final card count of 551

Hello!  Today I would like to share some photos from the Heart-Themed cards collection for the Cards for Little Hearts Card Drive and to wish you a #HappyHeartMonth.  Did you know heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women?  So during this February Heart Month, I would like to encourage you to take charge of your health and start at least one new, healthy behavior (like cardiovascular exercise) to help reduce your risk of heart disease and stroke.

The Heart-Themed cards collection is now closed and I will not be accepting any more Heart-Themed cards until next year.  As of the deadline date, we are at 411 cards count with a few more on the way.  My sincere thank to each and every crafters that were able to join us this Heart Month and help us bring smiles & encouragement to so many heart patients, celebrating them and of their remarkable journey.
Cards received as of January 30th have been hand delivered to the Heart Center staff this week.  The cards will be distribute throughout this month to heart patients at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and the Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital.  Both located here in Ohio.

Also included with each card is a coloring kit for the children to enjoy.  Each kit contains A2 size coloring pages, a pack of 4 crayons and a sheet of sticker.  Thank you so much to everyone that helped with the kits by sending in some coloring pages and stickers!

On behalf of heart patients, their family and the Heart Center staff, thank you so much again to each and every crafters that were able to take part in the Heart-Themed cards collection and for sharing a piece of your heart with the children.  We look forward to having you participate with us again soon.May you have a lovely and blessed day ahead.
