Hello.  Happy Valentine’s Day!  In celebration of this special “love day” occasion, I have a sweet Valentine’s Day card tutorial to share with you, featuring the adorable little Friendly Fox Die-Namics and other products from MFT Stamps.

    Tutorial: A Friendly Fox Happy Valentine’s Day

    Supplies: (stamp set) MFT Stamps Sweet Celebrations clear stamp (die sets) MFT Stamps Friendly Fox Die-Namics; MFT Stamps A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX set 2 Die-Namics; MFT Stamps Horizontal Hearts In A Row Die-Namics (card stock/paper pad) Bazzill Marshmallow (white); Bazzill Candy Heart; Bazzill Licorice Twist (black); MFT Stamps Orange Zest Prestige; Neenah Desert Storm (brown) (ink pad)  white pigment ink pad (tools) Sizzix Big Shot machine; cutting pads; Sizzix multipurpose platform; paper trimmer; bone folder; die pick; adhesive tape; foam tape; double sided sheet sheet

    DIRECTION: 

    1.  Begin by creating an A2 (4-1/4 x 5-1/2″) side folded card base from a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ size Candy Hearts card stock.  Score at the 4-1/4″ mark.

    2.  Die cut out 1 stitched rectangle card panel with heart design from the Sweet Stack paper pad.  Adhere to card front.

    3.  Die cut and assemble the friendly fox.  Add blush to the fox’s cheeks with Copic markers R0000, R000 and R30.  Or, use any color medium of choice.

    4.  Adhere the fox to card front with foam tape.

    TIP: for easy, cleanline assembling of the fox’s white face and paws, adhere double-sided adhesive sheet to the back of the cardstock before cutting out the pieces.

    5.  Die cut out a banner and stamp on “Happy Valentine’s Day” sentiment in white.  Adhere sentiment banner below the fox .

    TIP:  Go over with white pen if sentiment not white enough.

    6.  You’re finished!
